Honestly, that’s exactly where many women begin. Whether you’re right in the middle of perimenopause, have already reached menopause, or are just noticing "off" changes you can’t quite explain, our programs are built to meet you right where you are. We focus on listening to your story, connecting the dots, and guiding you toward the care that actually fits your life.
"How much does it cost to get started?"
We believe in transparent pricing without the surprises. Care starts at $399 for a focused 3-month package, and we have additional options if you're looking for longer-term support. Every pathway includes expert guidance, personalized clinical insights, and a clear plan forward.
"Is this covered by my insurance?"
It often is. While coverage depends on your specific private insurance provider, many of our clients are successfully reimbursed through their extended health benefits or Health Spending Accounts (HSA). We provide itemized receipts to help make this process as smooth as possible.
"How does the virtual care thing actually work?"
Think of it as world-class expertise, minus the waiting room. Consultations take place via a secure, private video platform—so you can access expert care from home, on your schedule.
"Do I need lab work done before my first appointment?"
Not at all. In fact, we prefer to talk to you first. Your practitioner will spend time reviewing your history and symptoms during that initial conversation. Together, you'll decide which diagnostic tests (if any) are actually necessary for your specific journey.
"Does Effica offer menopausal hormone therapy (MHT)?"
Yes. We are an evidence-based clinic governed by OBGYN oversight. If menopausal hormone therapy is clinically appropriate for you and aligns with your goals, your practitioner can include it as a key part of your personalized care plan.
"Can you actually prescribe medications if I need them?"
We can. Every Effica practitioner is a regulated medical professional. Within their scope of practice, they can prescribe medications directly related to managing your menopause symptoms and long-term health.
"Will I be pushed to buy certain medications or supplements?"
Definitely not. Decisions are always collaborative and focused on what’s best for your body. Effica does not sell medications or supplements, so our guidance stays objective, rooted in science, and solely focused on your goals.
